NC 01 PROMOTERS

DC Western: From Smithfield, take Hwy. 70 East to a right at Rosewood. Go across the railroad tracks and turn right at the light. Arena is several miles on the right. From Newton Grove, take Route 701 North. Turn right on Harper House Road to a left on Ferry Bridge Road. Go to the end and turn right on Old Smithfield Road. Take the next left on Rosewood. D & H Saddle Club: From Hwy. 70, turn onto Hwy. 581 North at the Wal-Mart Shopping Cneter (this will be a right if coming from the east, a left if coming from the west). Go about 3 miles and turn left on Gurley Dairy Road (look for Little Rock Church, Western Wayne Estates and Mitchell's Body Shop as landmarks).  Go about 2 miles to D&H Saddle Club sign on right, take gravel road back to the arena. From Wilson, take Hwy. 301 South to a left on Upper Black Creek Church Road, which becomes Hwy. 581 South. Follow about 6 or 8 miles to a right on Gurley Dairy Road (look for landmarks above). Moye Fence Company: From Raleigh/Wilson, follow Hwy. 264 East to exit 49, turn right on Hwy 58 South to Stantonsburg.  Go 4 - 5 miles past Stantonsburg, turn left on Speights Bridge Rd.  Arena is 1 mile on left.  From Smithfield, take I-95 N to Kenly, exit #107. (Hwy 301 N.) Turn right on Hwy 222 E to Fremont.  Continue on Hwy 222 E to Eureka.  Turn right at stop light in Eureka; take 1st road to left (Lindell Rd.) Go approx. 5–6 miles.  At stop sign, continue straight, arena is 1 mile on left. From Kinston, Take Hwy 258 North to Snow Hill. Turn left at stop light in Snow Hill onto Hwy 58 North towards Wilson.  Follow Hwy 58 North approximately 12 miles.  Turn right at Moye Fence Company sign onto Speights Bridge Rd.  Arena is 1 mile on left.  From Greenville, follow Hwy 264 West towards Wilson, take Walstonburg exit #59. Turn left at top of exit ramp.  Go to stop sign, turn left, take 1st road to right, (Fieldsboro Rd.)  Go approximately 8 miles.  Arena will be on the right.  From Goldsboro, take Hwy. 13 North towards Snow Hill.  Turn left on Hwy 58 N, go 8 miles to Moye Fence sign & turn right on Speights Bridge Rd.  Arena is 1 mile on left. Contact Tammy or Timmy Moye (252) 238-3766.

Promised Land Stables: From Greenville, take NC 11 and 13 North Turn right on NC 903 to Stokes. Turn right at the caution light onto NC 30 East. Arena is 2 miles on the left. From I-95, take US 64 East to the Bethel exit. Turn onto NC 11 and 13 South. One mile out of Bethel, take NC 30 to Stokes. Go through the caution light on NC 30. Arena is 2 miles on the left. From Washington and Eastern NC, take US 264 West 10 miles to NC 30 West. Turn right and drive about 5 miles. Arena is on your right. Contact Tonya Shelton (252) 757-0901.

Lake Waccamaw Boys and Girls Club: Take Exit 14 off I-95, head east 42 miles toward Whiteville and Wilmington. Hwy. 74/76 is 9 miles east of Whiteville. Turn right onto Chauncey Road, which becomes Chaunceytown Road. There are signs for Lake Waccamaw/Lake Waccamaw Exhibition Center/Lake Waccamaw Museum. Follow Chaunceytown Road to the end and turn right at the stop sign onto Hwy. 214/Sam Potts Road. Go about a half mile and turn right into the Main Entrance of the Exhibition Center (white polymer fence on right).

OLD FAVORITES AND OTHER PROMOTERS  

Carousel Farms: From Benson, take I-40 towards Raleigh. Take Exit 301 for I-440 East. Use Capital Boulevard US Route 1 North Exit 11 B towards Wake Forest. Stay to the right onto Route 401 North, which becomes Louisburg Road. Turn right at the light past the Food Lion and immediately left into long drive. Contact Jeff or Linda Mullen (919) 872-6898

Cash Farms: Located between Route 39 North of Bunn and Route 401 North of Rolesville, on Sam Horton Road near the Franklin County Airport. Contact Daylon Cash (919) 496-2258.

Equine Country, USA: From I-40, Kinston/Richlands, take Route 258 past Route 111 and the speedway. Turn left on Wells Road and left on McAllister Road. Contact Janet at (910) 347-4511.

McLamb's Arena: From I-95, take Benson Exit 79. Head downtown. Turn left on South Lee Street by the Singing Grove and Kerr Drugs. Turn right on Mann Street, pass the Armory and turn left on Elm Street into the arena. From Route 301, turn onto Brocklyn Road (by the Chevy dealer), right on Market Street, left on Mann Street and right on Elm Street into the arena.

5BarP Arena: From Smithfield, take I-95 South to Four Oaks Exit 87. At top of the ramp turn right and take the 1st road to the left.  Go to stop sign at the end and turn left on Hockaday Road.  Cross back over I-95 and turn 1st right onto Miller Road (SR 1223). Road turns into Juniper Church Road.  Arena is about 3 miles on the right. From Benson, take Route 50 South just past B&B Produce (on the right) and Johnson's Golf Cars (on the left). Turn left on Strickland's Crossroads Road. Cross over I-40. Take the third road to the left, Juniper Church Road. Arena is 1.1 miles on the left. From Newton Grove area, take 50 West out of Newton Grove to Highway 96 North at Meadow.  Travel 96 North to Blackmon's Crossroads.  Turn left onto Strickland's Crossroads Road.  Go past several roads and turn right onto Juniper Church Road, arena is 1.1 miles on the left.  (Do not turn on Juniper Road which comes up first). Parker's Covered Arena: Also known as Four Oaks Farm. From Wilson:  Take 301 North, go approx. 1/2 mile past Firestone, turn right on Haynes Rd.  Go approx. 3 miles and turn left on Jobe Rd.  Go up hill and covered arena will be on the left. From Rocky Mount:  Take 301 South thru Sharpsburg.  Cross over bridge over RR track.  At bottom of bridge turn left on Bottoms Dairy Rd. go to 2nd stop sign and turn left, go to 1st road to left (Jobe Rd) Go up hill and covered arena will be on the left.

Stillwater Stables: From Virginia:  Take I-95 South to Hwy 97 exit.  Turn left. Go about 1 mile to cross roads. Turn right onto Tar River Church Rd. The entrance will be about a mile on the left. From Wilson & Kinston:  Take Hwy 58 North towards Nashville. Turn left onto Cliftonville Rd (It is the 2nd road to the left after Silver Lake Restaurant). Go about a mile and the entrance will be on the right. From Goldsboro:  Take 117 North to Wilson to 264 West, take I-95 North exit.  Go to Hwy 97 exit.  Turn Right.  Go about 1 mile to cross roads.  Turn right onto Tar River Church Rd.  The entrance will be about a mile on the left. From Smithfield: Take I-95 North to Hwy 97 exit.  Turn Right.  Go about 1 mile to cross roads.  Turn right onto Tar River Church Rd.  The entrance will be about a mile on the left. From Rocky Mount: Take Hwy 97. Go thru Hwy 58 cross roads.  Take the next left at the cross roads.  You will be on Tar River Church Rd.  Go about 1 mile and the entrance is on the left. Triple Creek Farm: Located on Elevation Road (intersects with Hwy. 50), 5 miles north of Benson and 5 miles south of McGee’s Crossroads. From Raleigh, take I-40 Exit 319, turn right at the top of the ramp, then left on Rt. 50 to a right on Elevation Road. From Wilmington, take I-40 Exit 325, turn left at the top of the ramp, turn right at the Welcome to Benson sign. Turn right on Rt. 50, then left on Elevation Road. Arena is about a mile on the right. Runners' Paradise: From Benson, take I-95 South to Exit 20, NC41/Lumberton/Red Springs. Go two tenths of a mile and turn left on Roberts Ave./ NC 211 and go 3.3 miles and turn left to stay on NC 211. Go 3.4 miles and turn left on Old Allentown Road, then go eight tenths of a mile to the arena at 2124 Old Allentown Road. Contact Beth Herndon at (910) 740-7900.

Wild Winds Farm: In Oxford. From the South, take I-85 exit 189 for Butner. Turn left on NC 1103 (becomes Central Avenue). Turn left on 33rd Street/ NC1112. Turn right on Butner Road. Turn slightly left on Culbreth Road, then right on Enon Road to the facility on the right (white tape fence), Contact Debbie Olson at (919) 610-7158.
